Pocket Book 4th May
A little revise of some of the interesting makers at Saltaire Makers this weekend. You can find full details of the makers at the fair including the makers websites and social media below.
To Flower
Urban Meadows Pottery make carefully crafted ceramics specifically with plants and flowers in mind. So whether you're a plant enthusiast or looking to enhance your living space with artisanal pieces, her handcrafted ceramic homeware brings warmth, character and connection to nature to your everyday life. You can find out more HERE.
To Quilt
Lisa Watson has been making British Made traditional heirloom quilts with a contemporary twist since 2013. Her passion for celebrating British textile heritage has led to one of a kind handmade Harris Tweed cushions and wool blankets inspired by traditional textiles woven in Lancashire. All are perfect for adding extra warmth to the bedroom or draped on a sofa to bring eye catching interest all year round. Lisa’s full collection of quilts, cushions and more can be viewed HERE.
To Scarborough
Finally to a new find for me, Scarborough Road Studio is Natalie Knight who produces fabulous prints and brooches using vintage media, embroidery and collage. I was particularly taken with her swimmer brooch. You can find her on Instagram HERE.
We hope you enjoyed the Bank Holiday weekend and will be back next week with more Pocket Book. Please get in touch if you would like to be mentioned or have an event or anything else interesting to share, Charlotte.
